Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr ) will launch the AI sports glass 'Zenith Pro' of the global wearable brand Cybersight exclusively in Korea on September 24. Through this funding project, a new trend of AI glasses that expands from general-purpose to sports-specific will be introduced in Korea.
Recently, the AI glasses market is being subdivided into functional products tailored to specific activities, such as learning and riding, from a general-purpose type widely used in daily life such as translation and shooting. In Wadiz, the cumulative funding of the AI glasses funding project has reached about 600 million won over the past year and a half, and even new sports-specific products have emerged. Following the popularization of AI glasses, the flow of 'differentiation by use' is also taking shape in Wadiz.
The Zenith Pro, which will be unveiled this time, is designed to check the necessary exercise information without looking down at the wrist or instrument panel during running and riding. More than 60 types of exercise data such as speed, heart rate, driving distance, altitude, and slope are shown with binocular HUD. It is linked to various devices such as Garmin smartwatch, cycling computer, Applewatch, iPhone and Android smartphone, and supports sudden curve and rear vehicle notification and voice communication between team members.
CyberSight is a sports smart glass brand established in Singapore in 2024. Earlier, it recorded about 1.5 billion won in funding on Kickstarter, an overseas crowdfunding platform, with "Zenith." This time, the new product "Zenith Pro" will be introduced for the first time in Korea at Wadiz, checking consumer reactions and demand and securing initial customers.
"If universal AI glasses have popularized new use experiences, now the market is being segmented into products tailored to clear purposes such as running and riding," a Wadiz official said. "Wadiz will present the next market where new tech products will open one step ahead, and continue to support global innovative brands to identify their potential and grow in the Korean market."
Janice Profunding opens Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. in Wadiz. It offers up to 22% discounts by composing a variety of sets including AI Sports Glass single products, Garmin GPS and Giro d'Italia special edition lenses.
