Wadiz Funding Operations Guide | Checklist from Launch Day to Closing
Updated: September 16, 2026
Payment flow and operational checklist for each stage of this funding
Opening a funding project doesn't end the operation. Rather, a new operation will begin on the day of its opening. We need to connect the notification applicants collected before the opening to the actual payment, create a new influx in the middle of the initial interest, and deliver the last reason for participation to the supporter who hesitated just before the deadline.
In Wadiz Project operational data, about 37% of all payments occur on the day of opening and about 53% on the first three days. About 15% of payments occur on the 3rd just before closing, and about half of them are concentrated on the day of closing. The key to this funding operation is not to repeat the same behavior over all periods, but to change goals and messages according to the project stage.

1. A look at the flow of this funding operation
Payments during the funding period don't happen regularly every day. It is common for payments to be crowded immediately after opening and right before closing, and in the meantime, it is relatively slow. So just because the payment speed drops in the middle doesn't mean the project is failing. It is important to understand the natural payment flow and apply different operational strategies at each stage.

Step-by-step core operational strategy
- Before opening: Prepare detailed pages, rewards, news, ads, and booster coupons in advance.
- Day of opening: Inform notification applicants of opening and concentrate their first payment.
- First 3 days: Make initial results by checking advertising, news, and coupon reactions.
- Mid-term: Apply a solution that suits each problem by distinguishing between a decrease in visits and a decrease in payment conversion.
- Deadline 3: Engage with closing countdown and final benefits.
2. Before Open: Make Notification Applicants Supporters
On the day of the opening, it's most important for notification applicants to quickly participate in funding to produce initial results! The best things to use at this time are news and booster coupons, and if you want to organize this after opening, you may miss the time when payments are most active. Please prepare the items below three days before the opening.
First draft news
Please include the following in the first news. It will be much easier to run the project on the day of its opening if you draft it in advance and have it ready to be issued immediately. Wadiz If you're curious about the news, you can find out more information in our news integration guide.
- News of the opening of the project
- Most Important Product Features
- Early bird or open benefit
- Main Rewards and Remaining Quantities
- Details page or engagement button
Advertising Preparation
The goal of the commercial scheduled to open is to apply for notification, but the goal after the project is to pay. Therefore, it is better to change the campaign goal and prepare the following materials in advance. Take a look at the material insights by category that did well!
- Open today
- Early bird on a first-come, first-served basis
- Wadiz Only Configuration
- The first three days of opening are limited
- Actual use of the product
- Compare pricing and core features
Confirming the conditions for booster coupons
If you plan to use a booster coupon, I recommend you to set a discount method and amount, minimum payment amount, quantity, issuance period, and expiration date in advance. Coupons cannot modify key conditions such as discount amount or minimum payment amount after they are issued, so it is good to set the desired purpose and conditions that fit my project together with WAi.
3. Opening Day: The First Thing to Do
On the day of opening, about 37% of all payments are incurred. Finding new supporters is also important, but the key strategy is to focus on making sure that notification applicants who have waited to open first lead to payment. It's also good to refer to the D-Day timeline to preview the flow of project operations on the first day of the opening!
Make sure to publish new news on the first day of the opening
If you issue a new news, you can relay the project news back to the supporters who participated in the notification application, steam, and support signatures. The first news is more important to accurately communicate that "the project has been opened and there is a reason to participate now" than the long and perfect content.
Avoid these three items on the opening day
① Don't stop advertising material too quickly
Even if the click-through rate is lower than expected on the day of opening, check the data for at least 24 hours. If machine learning keeps turning off and changing the material before finding a supporter with a high likelihood of payment, ad learning can become unstable.
② Do not rush to change the terms of the coupon issued
If you add a new condition coupon right away on the day that the coupon is quickly exhausted, there may be a problem of equity with the supporters who participated first. Consider the benefits of existing participants and the purpose of the new coupon together.
③ Don't expect all results from targeted advertising alone
We also need to carry out operation activities that cost nothing, such as news, SNS, community, comment response, and support signatures. If necessary, we can add display advertisements and app/KakaoTalk push at important points.
4. First 3 Days of Open: Boosting Performance
On the first three days of the opening, about 53% of all payments occur because the participation of notification applicants collected during the scheduled opening period is concentrated. During this period, it is good to run advertisements, booster coupons, and news together to inform the atmosphere that the project is actively underway. See our first three-day operational guide to boosting performance.
| Schedule | a key purpose | Detailed Action |
| Day 1 | Announcing Open News and Early Funding Benefits | the first publication of news Issuance of first booster coupons Reply and communicate with supporters |
| Day 2 | Get rid of the hurdle of participating in funding | Share news by organizing repeated supporter questions into FAQs Check the performance of each advertising material and produce new materials Issuance and usage of booster coupons |
| Day 3 | Building trust with supporters and preparing for mid-run operations | Share news about the reward production process or development behind the scenes Get ready for popular rewards or supporters' reviews Preparing for new events Confirmation of advertising performance and input of new materials |
5. Please divide this funding ad budget into early, mid, and late stages
If you spend all of your advertising money on the scheduled opening, it may be difficult to attract new supporters during the main funding period when the actual payment occurs. So the commercial is going to openIt is good to proceed over the main funding, and the main funding advertising budget can be divided into the first 2: middle 6: late 2. 6. Midway Through Funding: Creating Steady Payments
It is a natural phenomenon that the speed of participation in funding decreases after about seven days after opening. At this time, it is recommended to find the cause of the congestion so that the performance does not continue to fall, and then apply a suitable solution according to the method of breaking through the middle stagnation period.
Visits remain, but payments are reduced: Transition issues
Supporters are coming into the detail page, but they are not paying. Check the three pages one more time, and if the inflow is sufficient and the payment is small, we need to improve the detailed page, reward composition, and supporter communication first rather than the advertising fee.
If the visits themselves were reduced: the inflow problem
There are fewer supporters looking for projects. In this case, you can look at the project inflow funnel again, and especially if you are running an advertisement, you can compare new materials while maintaining the existing advertising flow by changing the low-performance material one by one rather than replacing all the existing materials at once.
If payment is concentrated only on a particular reward: Configuration transfer problems
The differences and values of the other options may not have been sufficiently communicated. You can add a representative image to each reward or modify the title and description to make the existing reward more attractive, and you can consider adding a new reward configuration.
7. Deadline 3: 4 Strategies To Raise Last-Ditch Spurt
On the 3rd just before closing, about 15% of all payments occur, and about half of them are crowded on the day of closing. The fact that we don't have much time left until the deadline is a strong reason for supporters who have been thinking about funding to make decisions, so we can increase sales according to our last boosting strategy.
Strategy 1. Encourage last action with booster coupons
The key to the closing coupon is to set the issuance period and expiration period short to create a 'reason to participate now'. Re-guide early bird and early participation benefits so that existing participants do not feel disadvantaged, and explain that the closing coupon is the last chance for supporters who have hesitated to participate so far.
Strategy 2. Closing News to be issued daily
If you write a new news, you can apply for notification to my project and send a push notification to the supporters you steam. Tell us again why you need to participate in funding now with news of what your supporters are most curious about, last coupons and benefits, and today's deadline.
Strategy 3. Change ad material to closing countdown
If you're running targeted ads, you can add an impending closing message to the material and, if necessary, focus on Wadiz supporters about the impending closing of my project through push ads or funding packages.
Strategy 4. Focus on comments and existing supporters of interest
If you can't afford the advertising budget, it's more efficient to target supporters who have shown interest in my project than new supporters. Gather more supporters with trivial but easy-to-miss actions, such as sharing the news of the funding deadline on its SNS and sincerely answering comments and inquiries hesitating to participate.
The key to running this funding is to efficiently use limited budget and time while using advertisements, news, supporter communication, and booster coupons at the right time by referring to the flow of each stage in the early, mid, and late stages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Should I turn it off right away if the commercial performance on the day of opening is low?
A. No, it's not. Stack data for at least 24 hours and compare not only clicks but also actual payments. If you keep revising the advertisement on the day of opening, your learning can become unstable.
Q. Payments on the second day have decreased significantly compared to the first day of opening. Is there a problem?
A. Payments are concentrated on the day of opening, so it's a natural trend to decrease the next day. Check whether visits have also decreased, and visits are maintained, but only payments have decreased.
Q. Can I reduce the advertisement in the middle?
A. It's better to keep the basic advertisement to attract new supporters. If you don't have enough budget, adjust your daily budget and select and replace low-performance materials rather than stop all advertisements.
Q. When should I issue booster coupons?
A. You can use it immediately after opening, in the middle of stagnation, and just before closing. Generally, it's good to create urgency early in the opening and just before closing, and small-scale testing of specific rewards is appropriate in the middle.
Q. Can I change the discount amount after issuing the coupon?
A. The coupon that has been issued cannot modify the main conditions such as the discount method, discount amount, and minimum payment amount. We can only increase the number of issuance limits, so please check the conditions before issuance carefully.
Q. Is there anything I can do even if I don't have an advertising budget right before the deadline?
A. You can use the closing news, social media sharing, comments and inquiries, and support signature events. Focus on accurately delivering deadlines and final benefits to supporters who already know the project.
