1. What is KC certification?

• It is a certification system that plays a role in helping consumers purchase with confidence as a national safety standard for checking the safety of products.
  Consumers can check the quality and safety, such as the inclusion of harmful substances and the sustainability of quality, through the KC certification mark.
• The KC certification mark can be used only when the safety is confirmed after the product and factory review.

There are various types, but they are classified into three main categories.

• Radio wave certification (broadcasting and communication equipment) governed by the Radio Wave Act
• Safety certification of electric appliances and household goods under the Safety Management Act and safety certification of household goods
• Safety certification of children's products under the Special Act on Safety of Children's Products

2. What happens if I don't get KC certification?

• It will not be able to be sold or distributed domestically. Even though it is a product that requires KC certification, if it is sold or distributed without KC certification, it can be legally punished, such as imposing a fine.
• If Wadiz is preparing for the project, please check in advance and acquire whether it is a reward that must be certified by KC.

3. KC certification is still in progress. Can we start the project?

• It is possible. However, we can
  send the reward only after submitting the KC certification document after the success of the project.Please prepare the project according to the order below.
  
  

1. Project Submission: Please submit a receipt to confirm that the KC certification process is in progress.
2. After the success of the project:
   • We need to submit the KC certification document in the studio to send the rewards.
   • If it is difficult to submit to the studio, please submit the KC certification document to reward@wadiz.kr .
   • Please share the KC certification completion with the supporters through the news.

✅ Overseas Manufacturer KC Certification Documents

Overseas shipping projects in which rewards sent from overseas are delivered and customsized directly under the individual name of domestic supporters, regardless of the maker's business registration country, KC certification documents are not required when submitting the project.

However, even an overseas manufacturer must submit relevant documents for items subject to KC certification when shipping rewards in Korea.
