[Notice] Korea Customs Service Special Crackdown on Overseas Direct Purchases

For the maker's safe project operation, we will inform you of the precautions following the implementation of the Korea Customs Service's Special Enforcement on Overseas Direct Purchase.
If you provide rewards through overseas delivery, purchase agency, and parallel import, please check the following and comply with the relevant laws and regulations in the project operation and reward delivery process.
The Korea Customs Service will conduct a special crackdown on illegal imports and distribution of counterfeit goods that abuse the simple customs clearance system for overseas direct purchases, such as the Gwanggun system and Black Friday, at a time when overseas direct purchases are increasing.
In the crackdown, the Korea Customs Service will work with major domestic and foreign e-commerce companies to strengthen online distribution monitoring, delete posts on harmful food, drugs and suspected intellectual property infringement, and request suspension of sales activities.
1. Special Enforcement Overview

2. Precautions for Project Progress
If you import rewards from abroad or ship them directly to supporters, please check the following in advance.
- Compliance with import and customs procedures
Items for sale must not be disguised as items used by individuals and imported accurately based on the actual transaction price. - Management of personal customs clearance code
Supporters' personal customs clearance codes must be used only for the legitimate customs clearance purposes of the order. - Confirmation of import requirements
Electrical and electronic products, cosmetics, food and medicine must be checked in advance for certification and reporting requirements required for domestic import. - Verifying Genuine and Import Paths
Parallel import products should be checked for genuine products, legal import routes, and related evidence such as purchase invoices and import declaration certificates must be prepared.
