What Should You Do First on the First Day of the Funding Campaign? | D-Day Timeline

Open D-DAY
Funding Operation Guide
On the first day of the funding opening, there are actions that must be taken to make the notification applicants collected from the scheduled opening into supporters who participate in the actual funding.
On the first day of opening, 37% of all payments usually occur, and 53% gather in the first three days, which is the most important day to determine the success of funding. Since 60-78% of the first three-day payments tend to come from supporters who apply for notifications when they are scheduled to open, the key is not to miss notification applicants who have already shown interest in my project rather than gathering new supporters. What to do first If you're confused, start step by step with the guide I'm telling you now.

First 3 days to make 53% of all payments
If you look at the funding that ended from January 2025 to August 2026, the transition to payments was heavily concentrated right after opening.

At this time, the most participating supporter is the notification applicant. 58% of the notification applicants who participated in the funding paid on the first day of the opening, and 75% paid on the first three days. It is no exaggeration to say that the first three days of performance are decided by the notification applicants collected when the opening is scheduled. Therefore, if you have gathered a lot of notification applicants when it is scheduled to open, it is very important to encourage them to participate in actual funding during the first three days of the opening.
Timeline on the first day of the opening
I organized the funding open D-day timeline based on 2 p.m., the time when the maker opens a lot of projects.

Make sure to write new news on the first day of the opening
I recommend that you issue new news every day for the first three days after opening. If you write new news, you can send notifications to supporters who have signed up for notifications, steam them, and support them, so you can further increase your interest in the project.
The content is as important as the frequency of writing in order to produce actual funding conversion results through new news. On the first day, you can turn your interest in the project into funding participation if you trust your supporters with new news that contains different information and stories, such as open news and events, detailed specifications or making stories of rewards on the second day, and a collection of FAQs on the third day.

If you want to boost your first day of performance more? Taking advantage of booster coupons
The booster coupon is a coupon that can only be used for my project that can be issued directly under the conditions that the maker wants. Since supporters can set the time and amount of coupons available, they can set the validity period to three days at the beginning of the opening and guide it to new news on the scheduled stage of the opening and the first day of the opening to encourage them to participate in funding quickly.
Also, if you set up a booster coupon, the [coupon] badge will be exposed to the thumbnail of my project and automatically exposed to the booster coupon ZIP collection at Wadiz Main Home, so you can even enjoy the added marketing benefits. If you're curious about how to issue it and detailed benefits, take a look at our booster coupon guide!
These three are
It's better not to do it on the opening day
① Don't turn off advertising material in a hurry
On the day of opening, even if the ad click-through rate seems low, the time machine learning is optimized, i.e., the time my ad learns to find a supporter target to participate in the project takes at least 24 hours. You have to collect data for a day to determine whether the material is good or bad. If you turn off the material before that, the learning starts all over again, so don't modify the advertisement on the first day of the opening and compare the performance by material the next day.
② Do not change booster coupon conditions
Even if the booster coupon issued on the first day of the opening runs out sooner than expected, if you touch the conditions on the same day, there will be a problem of equity with the supporters you have already received. In addition, it is possible to increase the number of booster coupons issued, but there is a limit to reducing them. Therefore, if you are worried about the budget, you can consider the schedule of issuing booster coupons conservatively on the first day of the opening, and additional issuance midway through funding or just before the deadline depending on the performance.
③ Don't just rely on target ads
It's not "The project has been opened, and the commercial has started, so it's over!" There are various ways to improve the performance of my project, from new news to how to effectively promote my project without incurring costs such as support signatures and social media promotions, to display and push ads to meet high-involvement supporters who will be interested in my project using Wadiz's internal pages and app and KakaoTalk push as well as target ads. Try a variety of actions to help your long-thought-out projects achieve the best results.
First day of my project, how much will it be?
From writing new news to advertising, booster coupons, and social media promotions, did you run wild after opening? If you're wondering how much the first day of making it that way, you can ask WAi.
I don't know if my first day of my project came out well, please compare it with the average data of the project in the same category
If you ask like this, WAi will recommend if the performance is good based on the data on the first day, and what strategy should we run the funding from the next day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. The click-through rate of advertising materials is noticeably low on the first day of opening, should I really leave it as it is?
A. Yes, leave it as it is for at least 24 hours. 37.0% of all payments come out on the day of opening, and if you turn off the ad at this time, you're closing the most responsive time zone yourself. Rather than judging by the click-through rate alone, please compare the number of payments by material after accumulating a day's worth.
Q. It's my second day, but the payment isn't increasing. What should I do?
A. D+1 is about a quarter of the original opening day. It's normal to decrease, so you don't have to panic first. Post one new news that is different from yesterday and answer in the comments. If there is no movement to D+2, we need to see if the inflow has decreased or if there is an inflow but payment is not possible.
Q. It's three days before the opening, so what should I prepare first?
A. Please confirm the first draft news and the conditions of the booster coupon in advance. If you can issue it and open it right away on the day of opening, you can fully use the time when 58% of the payment for notification applicants comes out.
