Although the standing lifestyle has become common, our instincts still seek the floor. Using the sofa only as a backrest and eating or watching TV on the floor—this seated lifestyle is familiar, isn't it?
For me, that time was not enjoyable. I was always uncomfortable due to hip joint pain, and whenever we gathered on the floor for holidays or housewarmings, regular floor chairs never truly eased the strain on my joints.

'Just as clothes fit the body perfectly for comfort, couldn't a chair also fully support one's body shape and joints?'
As a clothing designer and pattern maker, I always thought about how to achieve a perfect fit to the human body. Based on that expertise, I decided to develop a floor chair myself for those who, like me, found floor living uncomfortable.
"Starting from my own concerns, leading to everyone's comfort"
After countless tests of shapes, heights, and angles, I completed the prototype. Receiving feedback like, "It's so comfortable I don't want to get up," I became convinced that this product was not just for me, but needed by many others.

Based on the design experience and know-how gained in fashion and product development, I sought to create a more comfortable floor-living experience.
With the mindset of "seeking comfort in floor living," I founded Minhas, and our technical skills were recognized by being selected for the Pre-Startup Package and receiving the Intellectual Property Office Director's Award.
We also confirmed the product's potential by winning the Silver Prize at the 2026 World Women's Invention EXPO and being selected for the Productization All-in-One Pack Support Project.

Q. Future Funding Usage Plans
Development of more comfortable seating experience
We will research the most comfortable foam angles and structures for sitting,
and develop various foam firmness options to suit different body types and preferences.
Development of materials suitable for overseas markets
Taking into account the living environments and preferences of floor-seating culture markets such as Japan and Southeast Asia,
we will develop differentiated materials and products tailored to each country.
Exchange, A/S, and Return Information
Minhas only ships products that have undergone strict quality control and have been safely inspected.
If there are any issues after receiving the product or if A/S is needed, we will assist you promptly according to the policy below.
1. Free A/S and Exchange Information
- Warranty period: We guarantee free A/S for one year from the date of product receipt.
- Coverage: Manufacturing defects and initial faults in hardware (chair frame, structural parts)
- Procedure: After checking photos or videos of the defective part, a 1:1 exchange or parts replacement will be processed.
- For initial defects (within 7 days of receipt), round-trip shipping costs for exchanges/returns will be covered by the maker (Minhas).
2. Cases Where Exchange/Return (Refund) Is Not Possible
- If the product is damaged due to the supporter's negligence, misuse, unauthorized modification, or disassembly.
- If fabric damage or deformation occurs due to failure to follow washing and dryer instructions.
- If the product cover has already been washed or shows signs of use, making resale impossible.
- Due to the nature of Funding, cancellations and returns due to a simple change of mind after the project ends are not allowed.
- Due to the characteristics of wood (solid/plywood), natural knots, grain differences, and slight tone variations are not considered defects, so exchanges/returns for these reasons are not possible.
3. How to Request A/S and Inquiries
- If you contact Wadiz 'Contact the Maker' or the [Minhas Official Customer Center], we will check and guide you promptly.
- When requesting A/S, please send [your name/contact information/photos or videos of the defective part/purchase history] together for faster processing.
Shipping Information
- Shipping Start Date: Scheduled to be shipped sequentially within about 7–10 days after the project ends.
- Shipping Method: Shipped via designated courier (final announcement will be made through updates later).
- Basic Shipping Fee: 8,000 KRW (4,000 KRW per box x total 2 boxes).

Due to the large size of this product, which is designed to support proper posture, the shipping fee has been set higher.
If the chair and cushion are shipped together, it becomes a large parcel and the shipping fee increases significantly,

FAQ
Q. How is it different from regular cushions or meditation cushions?
A. Minhas is not just a simple cushion, but a set product designed with a two-layer cushion and an ergonomically designed chair with a backrest. The height and angle of the chair are optimized for the increased seating height, providing stable support for your back and reducing the burden on your knees, back, and hips.
Q. Can I remove and wash the cover?
A. We recommend managing it without removing the cover whenever possible.
Both the outer and inner fabrics of the Minhas cushion are made of water-resistant material, so even if contaminants get on it, they will not seep into the inner sponge.
For everyday stains or spills, simply wipe it clean immediately with a wet tissue or damp towel without removing the cover for easy maintenance.
For odor and hygiene management, lightly spray a fabric deodorizer (such as Febreze) and let it dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Reason for not washing the cover: It is precisely made for a perfect three-dimensional fit, so frequent removal or washing may weaken the waterproof coating or deform the foam shape.
*If absolutely necessary, the cover can be removed and washed.
- For machine washing
Please use a neutral detergent in cold or lukewarm water below 30℃.
To protect the fabric and waterproof function, we recommend washing separately using the 'wool course' or 'gentle cycle'.
Drying and Care
A dryer can be used.
However, to prolong the fabric's lifespan and prevent shrinkage, we recommend low-temperature drying or natural drying in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Q. Is there a specific direction when putting the upper cushion cover back on after washing?
A. Yes. The upper cushion foam is made with a tapered structure, so please attach it with the wider side facing down and the narrower side facing up. If attached the other way, the cover fit and seating comfort may differ.
💡 TIP: Please align the zipper positions of the outer and inner covers when assembling.
Q. Do I have to use the chair and cushion together?
A. You will experience the most perfect and comfortable floor seating environment when used together.
You may use the cushion or chair separately as needed, but the chair frame is made slightly longer than regular floor chairs to match the height of the two-layer cushion. Also, the hole position on the back of the chair is designed based on cushion connection, so please keep this in mind.
