Here is the background of how we came to prepare this project.

When cooking, there are more foods than you think, like meat, pancakes, and dumplings, that need to be flipped one by one.

• Every time I used a regular tong or spatula, I had to repeatedly twist my wrist, and flipping multiple foods quickly was cumbersome and inconvenient.

• The development of Kquickturn began with a simple thought: "Isn't there a way to flip food instantly just by grabbing it with tongs?"

• Kquickturn is designed so that food naturally rotates the moment you grab it, allowing you to flip food more easily and quickly without having to twist your wrist as much as before.

• It can be used for grabbing, flipping, and stir-frying with a single cooking tool, making it practical for everyday use in the kitchen.

• In particular, food-grade silicone is applied to the part that touches the frying pan, so you can use coated pans with greater peace of mind.

• When cooking with children, the flipping process itself can become a fun activity, and I wanted to create a practical product that would also make a great gift for family or friends.

• After long development and several prototypes, we completed domestic patent registration and received a patent grant decision in the U.S., preparing to enter overseas markets.

• Kquickturn's goal is to become a 'K-cooking tool' that goes global together with K-foods that require a lot of flipping, such as meat patties, short rib patties, dumplings, pancakes, and pork belly.

• As I cooked frequently at home, my wrist pain gradually worsened.
• At some point, even twisting my wrist to flip food with tongs became difficult.
• Hospital visits, physical therapy, time, and cost—all of it was a burden.
• So I ended up making a tool myself that allows you to flip food easily without twisting your wrist.
• This product is designed to prevent strain on your wrist.
• If you cook frequently, having one in advance will be very convenient.

Hello, supporters! This is the Kquickturn maker.

It has been quite a long time since I first started making this product.

At first, I really wanted to show you a prettier and more refined product. I created several molds and even completed the mass production mold, but as the production cost rose to about 70% of the sales price, I eventually had to give up on mass production using the original method.

Although it was disappointing, instead of stopping there, I reconsidered the direction of the product from the beginning.

In the end, I concluded that functionality, practicality, and reasonable price were more important than flashy appearance, so I completely redesigned the product with the current structure combining stainless steel and silicone.

Aiming for better materials and higher quality than the previous prototypes, I continued to revise and improve, and now I have produced the 10th prototype.

Although the structure may look simple on the outside, implementing the function to flip food naturally just by gripping it with the tongs was more difficult than expected. Through countless trials and errors, I improved the structure, angle, and usability one by one to reach the current Kquickturn.

In particular, I put a lot of effort into making it easier and more comfortable for people cooking at home to flip food without excessively twisting their wrists.

Kquickturn is not just an ordinary tong.

It was developed so you can grip, flip, and stir-fry food with a single cooking tool. The silicone part is designed to touch the frying pan directly to reduce surface damage to cookware, and the goal was to lessen the burden of repetitive wrist movements during cooking.

Kquickturn's technology has begun to be recognized not only in Korea but also overseas.

Following patent registration in Korea, we have also received a patent decision in the United States. Although it is a small cooking tool, I find it very meaningful as a developer that its unique structure and function, different from conventional tongs, have been recognized.

Currently, interest in K-food is rising worldwide.

I hope that Kquickturn can be introduced overseas along with Korean foods like Donggeurangttaeng, Tteokgalbi, dumplings, pork belly, and jeon, which involve a lot of grilling and flipping.

My goal is for this to grow beyond just a kitchen utensil made in Korea, and become a new 'K-cooking tool' or 'K-flipper' used together with K-food.
