Currently promoting the founding of the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation,

Creating a new culture and competition foundation for Korean swordsmanship.

The moment when the martial arts that ignite our passion shine the brightest

Is precisely the 'moment of confrontation.'

UFC, Black Combat. Competitions that feature bare-handed martial arts showdowns.

Why are there no comprehensive weapon martial arts competitions in the world of swordsmanship?

The longsword of a European knight. Sword and shield.

The Hwanddo and Woldo of a Joseon warrior. Pyeongon.

The katana of a Japanese swordsman. Naginata.

The sword, dao, and spear of a Chinese martial artist.

Rapier. Sabre. Sword & buckler.

Over hundreds of years,

In different countries,

By different people,

In different ways,

Swords and weapons have evolved.

And we have always wondered.

What if they really met?

If a Western longsword swordsman
And an Eastern swordsman stood face to face?

If sword and spear fought each other?

If martial artists born in completely different eras and cultures

In the same space,

Fought with the skills they had trained all their lives?

Who would fight, and how?

Since ancient times, humanity has

They wanted to see such scenes.

In the ancient arenas.

At the knights' tournaments.

In the stories of duels between warriors.

People have long desired

Scenes where outstanding warriors compete with their skills and courage.

As times changed, those arenas disappeared.

Only one style of martial art competes.

It was only recently that MMA broke this.

What about weapon arts? What about swordsmanship?

Everyone always wants to see this,

But it is never seen.

In movies, knights and samurai fight.

In games, you choose swords, spears, and axes to face completely different warriors.

In novels and comics, swordsmen who transcend eras meet each other.

We have imagined it countless times.

What if people who actually trained in swordsmanship

Competed with their real swords and skills?

What would that look like?

2025 Classical Swordsmanship Championship Longsword Tournament

Hosted by Director Heung, Korea's top-level Western longsword tournament.

And

2026 SWORD MASTERS

Hosted by Director Heung, athletes who have trained in various swordsmanship from East and West,

actually stood together in a single arena.

A grand festival of Eastern and Western swordsmanship never seen before.

2025 WEAPON MASTERS

Hosted by Director Heung, swords alone were not enough.

People who trained with other weapons appeared.

As the weapons changed, so did the distance, the strategy,

and even the way the fights looked changed completely.

We began to bring swordsmanship that existed only in our imagination

into reality as a sport.

And

something amazing happened.

It was not because there was a huge prize.

It was not because there was a massive arena.

It was not because there was a TV broadcast.

It was a small tournament that was not yet well known.

But

People came holding swords.

About 60 athletes appeared from all over the country.

Western swordsmanship HEMA athlete.

Traditional martial artist.

Spear fighter. Kendo practitioner. Fencing athlete.

Chinese martial arts practitioner.

A person who has studied their own techniques through self-teaching.

From different regions,

Different martial arts,

People who have lived different lives

Gathered in the arena for one reason.

Before we knew it, top-ranked American athletes also began participating in Korean tournaments.

Because they needed a stage to compete.

So I kept creating for three years.

LONGSWORD TOURNAMENT.

SWORD MASTERS.

WEAPON MASTERS.

I found venues and gathered athletes.

I made the rules.

I moved the equipment and set up the arena.

I filmed all the competitions and created videos.

I also stepped into the arena as a competitor and fought myself.

Because it didn't exist, I made it myself.

Once.

And then once more.

But at some point, I hit a wall.

Continuously organizing competitions as an individual

was a completely different matter from creating a culture.

One person's skill. Time. Connections. Passion... And production costs...

It's such a great competition... I love fencing so much...

But I am getting exhausted, and losses are accumulating little by little.

There were clear limits with just my own money and the participants' fees.

Even after holding the competitions, I did not take a single cent for myself,

and I paid all my friends who helped with the competitions for their efforts.

Honestly, for the past three years, I really wanted to quit...

However...

Before I knew it, I had become the center of this martial arts community,

and so-called non-mainstream martial artists who believed in me were by my side.

The future that fencers want to see

A fencing competition that continues every year.

Official records of the athletes.

Ranking. Rival. Champion.

Professional referee. Coach. New trainee.

A Korean national athlete's overseas challenge.

World-class athletes visiting Korea.

Korea-China-Japan exchange match.

A tournament where Asian swordsmen gather in Korea.

And spectators cheer for their favorite athletes,

A culture of waiting for the next match.

It is too big a dream for one person to achieve alone.

When 10,000 won is gathered, and 50,000 won is gathered,

When the hearts of 100 people come together,

If 1,000 people gather,

We can prepare better equipment.

We can create bigger tournaments.

We can support the athletes.

We can invite strong competitors from overseas to Korea.

We can send Korean athletes to the world.

And above all,

We can continue to create tournaments.

From a competition created by one person,

To a culture created by everyone.

Now, we are moving to the next stage.

Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation Founding Project

Swordsmanship, once only seen in movies and games, now in real-life arenas.

Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation Founding Support Reward

Everyone participating in this Funding is more than just a supporter.

You will be recorded as a 'Founding Supporter' who was present at the very beginning of the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation.

Regardless of the amount, every supporter's name will be recorded in the history of the Federation.

10,000 KRW | Federation Founding Support

This is the first Reward for those who support the birth of the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation.

Even a small contribution will be equally recorded as being part of the Federation's founding moment.

"I was there when the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation began."

We will record that for you.

30,000 KRW | Founding Member

This is a Reward that allows you to own an actual founding member certificate beyond just a record.

The founding member certificate will be issued with a unique number.

50,000 KRW | Supporting Founding Member.

A supporting member who will be with us not only for the birth of the federation but also for future swordsmanship tournaments.

This is a Reward that allows you to be closest to the federation in its first year.

100,000 KRW | Honorary Founding Member.

We will record the beginning of the federation with a special name.

Supporters of 100,000 KRW or more will be separately recorded as 'Honorary Founding Members.'

Honorary founding members will be recorded as 'founding period supporters,' a status that cannot be obtained through regular membership in the future.

Director Heung's swordsmanship and weapon skills workshop scene.

300,000 KRW | Founding Individual Sponsor.

Support and learn swordsmanship directly.

This is a personal sponsor Reward that goes beyond simply supporting the federation, allowing you to directly experience and learn swordsmanship.

Corporate and Institutional Sponsor Program.

From the corporate program onward, it is more than just a swordsmanship experience.

Director Kim Heung-rae is a veteran instructor who has conducted various humanities lectures and hands-on workshops at corporations, local governments, and universities.

Through demonstrations with real weapons and swordsmanship, we explore the history and martial arts of East and West, discussing competition and growth, openness and closure, sharing of knowledge, challenges and failures, and the development of organizations and individuals.

This is 'humanities you see, hear, and experience' using the very intense theme of swordsmanship.

1,000,000 KRW | Corporate Sponsor

"Swordsmanship Humanities to See and Hear"

1-hour corporate/institutional humanities lecture + swordsmanship demonstration

Why did the East and West develop swordsmanship in such different ways?

We explore the differences between cultures that guarded and concealed their techniques and those that published and shared their knowledge through books, as well as chivalry and bushido, competition and exchange, tradition and innovation, all through live swordsmanship and weapon demonstrations.

For office workers, this becomes a time to reflect on their work, organization, competition, and growth from a new perspective.

2,000,000 KRW | Corporate Sponsor PLUS

"Swordsmanship Humanities to Experience Directly"

2-hour humanities lecture + swordsmanship demonstration + swordsmanship experience for employees

This takes the 1,000,000 KRW program one step further.

Participants directly hold a sword and experience the competition, judgment, change, and growth discussed in the lecture.

The opponent keeps moving.

Observe → Judge → Choose → Act → If you fail, you must adjust again.

This is an experiential corporate workshop where you understand with your body what you previously heard with your mind through the unique experience of swordsmanship.

3,000,000 KRW | Corporate Sponsor PREMIUM

"Customized Swordsmanship Workshop for Our Organization"

3-hour customized humanities + demonstration + swordsmanship experience + team program

The program theme is customized through prior consultation with the company.

We connect the messages companies want—such as leadership, organizational culture, collaboration and competition, challenge and growth, and motivation for new employees—to swordsmanship.

Lecture → Weapon demonstration → Swordsmanship experience → Opponent mission → Team program → Closing message, all conducted as a single program.

This is not just simple recreation, but a customized corporate program where lectures and experiences are connected into one story.

10,000,000 KRW |

SWORD MASTERS Sponsor

"Beyond sponsorship, we create a tournament."

For top-tier sponsors, we create an actual swordsmanship tournament, not just a lecture or experience.

We plan and host a SWORD MASTERS invitational tournament for 8 participants, reflecting the name of the company or sponsor.

For example

'SWORD MASTERS with ○○ Company'

In this way, we create an actual sword sports content.

The company becomes not just a sponsor attaching its logo, but an official sponsor who creates a new swordsmanship culture and stage for athletes together.

The founding member numbers will not be reset.

Even if the federation grows to 1,000 or 10,000 members in the future,
The names and numbers of those who joined the founding of the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation will remain unchanged.

Record it on the homepage,
Record it at the federation headquarters,
Leave it as a certificate.

"When the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation first began,

I was there."

Reasons for Funding on Wadiz

Until now, I have created and operated swordsmanship tournaments through personal effort.

Currently, 126 members nationwide have united for the founding of the federation, and we are preparing an activity base of about 100 pyeong in Pung-dong, Goyang City. Unfortunately... not all of them are supporting members.

Connecting, discovering, supporting athletes nationwide, holding ongoing tournaments, and creating a system where athletes, referees, and coaches can grow is difficult with individual effort alone.

That is why I want to start together through Wadiz. This is my first support project.

It is not simply about creating another association,

The purpose of this Funding is to create a 'national swordsmanship sports ecosystem' where anyone can learn, compete, watch, and experience swordsmanship anywhere in the country.

How will the support funds be used?

The support funds will be used to create 'the federation's activities' rather than just 'the federation's name.'

The Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation is currently preparing to establish a non-profit organization, and much of the initial space acquisition and tournament preparation is being carried out at Director Kim Heung-rae's personal expense.

However, simply creating the federation is not the goal.

What we actually do after the founding is much more important.

Therefore, the funds raised through this Funding will be used first to establish the federation's initial activity base and to carry out the promised projects and swordsmanship cultural activities for our supporters.

The main usage plans are as follows.

Main content of usage areas

Establishing a federation activity base: Creating an environment for training, education, and events at the federation space in Pung-dong, Goyang City.

Safety and competition equipment: Protective gear, training equipment, competition operation equipment, and safety facilities. Hosting fencing competitions and venues.

Operational supplies, referees and staff, filming, and competition operation expenses. Athlete and competition systems: Athlete records,

Athlete prize money, competition results, ranking, and establishment of competition operation systems.

Education and workshops: Supporter workshops, fencing experiences, education, and cultural programs. Research and content.

Research on fencing and weapon techniques, production of educational materials and video content.

Nationwide activity base: Preparation for exchanges with athletes and organizations from other regions and expansion of regional competitions. Reward fulfillment.

Execution of materials related to founding members, invitation events, personal lessons, and corporate programs.

And we will actually hold the competition.

This is not a Funding that ends with the creation of the federation.

The first supporter workshop is scheduled for October 9, 2026, Hangeul Day, at the federation fencing training center in Pung-dong, Goyang City.

Afterward, we will coordinate Reward schedules for each supporter, mainly on weekends.

The federation's first official fencing competition, the 'Longsword Tournament,' is planned for October 31 in Pung-dong, Goyang City, and in December, we are planning the comprehensive fencing competition 'SWORD MASTERS,' where various fencing styles will meet.

The corporate sponsor program will also be conducted by directly coordinating schedules with sponsoring companies, including fencing demonstrations, humanities lectures, and hands-on workshops.

The 10,000,000 KRW SWORD MASTERS sponsor Reward will be conducted by planning and hosting a separate 8-person invitational SWORD MASTERS competition under the name of the sponsoring company or sponsor.

The larger the sponsorship, the broader the scope of activities.

If support exceeds the target amount, rather than simply making the facilities more luxurious,

We will prioritize investing in expanding competitions that started in Goyang City to other regions, providing more opportunities for athletes and coaches, and creating fencing sports content that audiences can visit and enjoy.

As the amount of sponsorship increases, funds will be used according to the purpose of each sponsorship item.

Not for a 'better office,'
We will create 'more tournaments.'

Not a 'more glamorous federation,'
We will create 'more stages for athletes.'

Your support will become the actual cost that gets Korean swordsmanship culture moving.

The founding of the Korea Comprehensive Swordsmanship Federation is not the destination,

It is just the beginning from that day on.
