But WIW started with a few questions.

"Can't we do good in the ways we usually enjoy?"

"Can't it be hidden within our ordinary daily lives?"

If you like walking, walk together,
If you like running, run together,
If you like games, find hidden stories,
If you like photography, record the moments.

And through those experiences,
You encounter stories of people and places you would have otherwise passed by.

Not in a grand way, but in our own way.

That is what WIW wants to do.

WI How did W begin?

The beginning of WIW was not a grand plan.

A young couple living in Wonju
greeted an elderly neighbor shared greetings,
shared food,and started listening to their stories. That's how it began.

They thought the elderly neighbor was just an ordinary neighbor,
but found out that he was someone we should remember and be grateful for,
a national merit recipient.

At that moment, one thought came to mind.

Why do we only hear these stories on special occasions?

People who live in the same apartment as us,
walk the same streets,
and shop in the same neighborhood,
may also have stories we never knew about.

WIW wanted to encounter those stories
in a much closer way.

Heroes live closer than you think.

And memories
It doesn't have to be an anniversary.

Even if it's not an anniversary, Today.

That's why WIW creates 'projects'.

WIW doesn't say to someone,
"Join a good cause" first.

PROJECT 01

Gamyeong Hide-and-Seek Game

Where could it be hiding?

As you walk through Gamyeong at night,
you will encounter small characters hidden throughout.

Find the locations in the photos,
discover the same angles,
This is a participatory night walk project where you search for hidden characters.

At first, it's just a fun game of hide-and-seek.

But as you follow the game and walk along,
you get to see the spaces and stories of Gangwon Gamyeong that you would normally just pass by,
in a little more detail.

As you play, you encounter stories.

This is the way that best shows the projects WIW wants to create.
It is the most effective way to showcase what WIW wants to make.

PROJECT 02

NEAR THE HERO

In our neighborhood, there lives a hero we never knew about.

The stories of national patriots and their families living in Wonju,
are not grand tales of heroism,but the daily life of an individual, recorded as it is.

What kind of food they like,
which neighborhoods they have walked through,
and how they spend their days.

Through interviews, photos, short videos, and stories,
before the title of 'national patriot,'
We want to meet someone who lives together in our neighborhood.

Records are always made with the subject's consent first.
We avoid excessive heroization or sensational storytelling.

We want to create projects like these in the future.

Night walks and local night tours,
Running projects,
Mini-games like hide-and-seek and quizzes,
Content featuring people and places we should remember,
Maps containing stories of Wonju and Gangwon,
Small goods that can be used in daily life.

Not the same kind of volunteering every time,
A volunteer crew that makes you wonder, "What will we do next?"

WIW wants to become such a team.

We continue to create projects with your support.

This Funding is not just support to collect crew operating expenses.

We create a project,
and to continue to the next project,
