At the moment you hung it around your neck, it felt like you owned the world. But now, is it sleeping in a drawer or inside a shopping bag? The memory of running 42.195km is too precious to be stored away like that.
Runners always say the same things. "I have so many medals, but nowhere to keep them." "I tried hanging them on a medal hanger, but they all look the same." "I want to keep my first finisher's medal somewhere special." Regular medal hangers are just tools for hanging; they don't capture the story of that day.
That's why, as a runner, I made it myself.
The HEXATRAIL Medal Case is not just a storage item for medals, but a record device that captures the entire race of that day.
1. Course Terrain Engraving โ The path you ran is engraved in 3D.
Based on GPS course data, the race course and surrounding terrain are 3D modeled and engraved onto the case. If you ran along the Han River, the river is captured; if you crossed mountains, the ridges are included. The line you can feel with your fingertips is the line you drew with your own two feet.
2. Personalized Nameplate โ Race name, date, and your record.
The nameplate can be engraved with the race name, your name, BIB number, and finish time. It's not just a few numbers, but your achievement from that day.
3. Magnetic Assembly โ Click together, no tools needed.
The medal holder and case are joined using magnets. When you get a new medal, just insert it, and if you want to change the display position, simply detach it.
4. Stand-Type Display โ Don't hang it, display it standing up.
No need to drill holes in the wallโjust place it on a desk, shelf, or display case. The hinge structure allows for adjustable angles in a stand-type design.

I am a runner who does marathons and trail runs, and a mechanical design engineer. The day I didn't know where to put my first half marathon finisher's medal and put it in a drawer, I started designing this product. From design, terrain data processing, printing, assembly, to inspection, I do everything myself. It's not a mass-produced factory product, so it's slow. But each one is different, just like every race you run is unique.

Production and Delivery Schedule
Production will begin in the order of payment within two weeks after the Funding ends, and we aim to ship all items within 4 to 6 weeks after the end. As this is a one-person workshop, there is a limit on the number of Rewards. This is to ensure delivery by the promised date.
Shipping Fee Information: Basic shipping is free. However, there is an additional shipping fee of 3,000 KRW for Jeju Island and 5,000 KRW for other remote islands and mountainous areas, which will be charged individually after the Funding ends.

Q. Can you make items for any competition?
A. Yes, it is possible. We can create course terrains for any domestic or international competition. After the Funding ends, please send the competition name along with the GPX file or course link in the survey for more accurate production.
Q. The medal sizes are all different. Can they all be hung?
A. The design is based on the standard sizes of major domestic competition medals, and the magnetic holder accommodates most medal thicknesses. For special sizes, please contact us.
Q. Isn't 3D printing less durable?
A. The parts subject to structural load have been reinforced in thickness, and we support repairs and parts replacement in case of damage.
