The biggest concern for randonneur riders is
"How safely and comfortably can I endure for a long time on unfamiliar roads?"
This is the question.
This project was created to answer that question,
with a set of sleeveless safety jersey and temperature-regulating base layer,
plus a complimentary bib short, all prepared at once.

1. Why do you need a 'sleeveless safety jersey'?
At night and dawn, being unseen becomes dangerous.
Randonneurs ride endlessly on highways and country roads at night and dawn.
At this time, how well you are seen by car drivers is directly related to 'safety.'
However, most existing jerseys have
- a dark-colored body,
- reflective stickers only as small accents,
- and a structure that relies solely on a single rear light.
So from a distance, the rider's silhouette often appears blurry,
or sometimes is not recognized at all.
We designed the entire upper body as a 'visible signal.'
The sleeveless safety jersey features the entire upper body in
- high-brightness colors that stand out even from afar,
- and wide-angle reflective details that reflect light from various angles
It is composed of.
No matter what angle car headlights come from,
It is designed to make the rider's upper body silhouette stand out prominently,
Clearly signaling from a distance that "there is a rider ahead."
Why is it sleeveless?
Midday during the randonneur season is close to a heatwave.
What comes before physical fatigue is 'fatigue caused by body heat and sweat.'
The sleeveless structure
- Makes it easy to regulate body temperature by opening the zipper.
- Keeps your upper body light and cool even during long-distance summer rides.
2. Why should the temperature-regulating base layer be a set?
The freedom to open the jersey zipper
As you go beyond 200, 300, 400 to 600, 1000,
- The cold air of dawn,
- The intense heat of midday,
- The chill that returns after sunset,
Keep coming alternately.
In the heat where you want to open the outer jersey zipper,
It gives you the freedom to fully open the zipper.

If you don't want your arms to get tanned, choose long sleeves.
The temperature-regulating base layer
- allows you to layer with long or short sleeves depending on the temperature.
Thanks to this design,
- right after sweating on an uphill,
- during downhill or early morning sections,
it reduces the 'cold zone' where your body suddenly cools down.
In other words,
in the randonneur environment where heat and cold alternate,
it is designed to help maintain a consistent body temperature as much as possible.

3. Detailed design for randonneurs

① Pattern designed for over 10 hours of wear
For long-distance riding,
being comfortable all day or for two days straight is more important than brief performance.
Therefore, the upper pattern
- provides aerodynamic effects by zipping up to reduce wind resistance while riding,
- and comfort by unzipping to relieve pressure while resting.
- The sleeves feature an aero fit to reduce wind resistance.
This design considers the randonneur's routine of repeated meals and resupplies.
② Long-distance storage and minimized interference
For randonneur riders who use frame bags, top tube bags, and similar accessories
- The back pocket is designed for easy access to frequently used supplies during long-distance rides.
We considered the movement flow.
You can take out what you need without excessively twisting your body while riding.
Items are arranged so you can easily retrieve them during your ride.
4. Especially recommended for these riders
- For those preparing for their first 200 or 300.
For those who want to get their clothing right the first time. - For those who have already completed several rides.
For those who always struggle with night riding and heat or cold. - For those who value safe completion over record competition.
For all randonneurs whose goal is "a safe finish without giving up until the end."
5. A set perfected through proven long-term experience
Longterm has already
- Project number 368911
- Project number 363755
Through two rounds of Funding for the 'Slim Bib Shorts for Long-Distance Travel'
We have worked with over 1,000 supporters.
The feedback received from actual randonneurs during that process
Has been fully incorporated into this sleeveless safety jersey and temperature-regulating base layer set.
This project
- Building upon the comfort and durability experience accumulated with the existing bib shorts,
- We have added the functions of 'safety' and 'temperature control' to the upper body,
You may consider this as the stage of completing the "full set of upper and lower wear exclusively for randonneurs."
6. Reward Composition and Complimentary Bib Shorts Guide
Basic Reward Composition
- Sleeveless Safety Jersey + Temperature Control Baselayer Set
- Basic full upper body set for randonneurs
- A combination that takes into account all actual randonneur environments (night, dawn, midday)
Complimentary Gift: Limited quantity 'Long-term Bib Shorts' provided
In this project,
"So that you can experience both upper and lower wear in actual randonneur environments,"
We have prepared complimentary bib shorts as well.

- When selecting the set reward, in limited quantities,
One pair of Long-term Bib Shorts will be provided as a complimentary gift. - Using the same pattern and comfort verified in previous projects,
These bib shorts minimize thigh and hip pressure even on long distances. - When worn together with the upper body set,
You can experience a 'full kit' optimized for long-distance riding from head to toe,
All at once.
※ Complimentary bib shorts are provided in limited quantities,
If sold out early, it may not be included in subsequent Rewards.
The size will be provided according to the top size.
7. What you can gain from this project
- Upper body visibility that is clearly seen at night and dawn, even from a distance.
- A body temperature control system that considers both heat and cold.
- Patterns and storage design reflecting actual randonneur environments.
- A full set configuration that allows you to experience even the proven long-term bib shorts.
This set, created through multiple completions and countless feedback,
"So that you never have to give up because of equipment again"
We hope it becomes the basic equipment for randonneur riders.
