2. Author's Note: The inner world as seen by a psychology student who is not a literature major

Hello, this is Woo-hwa Kim. For a long time, I have deeply contemplated the human inner world, especially the boundary between life and death. The wounds and pain of people I encountered during my studies left a deep impression on my heart.

I wanted to address the heavy topics of 'inner darkness' and 'suicide,' which everyone faces but rarely speaks about, not as sensational stimuli but with a sincere perspective of comfort. I dedicate my first collection of short stories, which fully contains my concerns as a contemporary young person and psychological insights, to all readers.

[First Short Story: The Story of Others]

Summary of the work:
People gather after receiving the last invitation left by the departed, and within the indifference they once ignored, they finally face the true pain and truth of others.
Main text highlight:
We are all living in stories of misunderstanding. It's natural. Because people are destined to live only their own stories. That's why what matters to Obae is his own story, not someone else's. But what if, just a little, Odeung listens to someone else's story? Then, perhaps, a seemingly small but significant tragedy could be prevented.

[Second Short Story: Free Travel]

Summary of the work: An intense journey of writing freedom and a complete life in one's own language, even amidst the shackles of expectation, pressure, and lethargy.
Main text highlight:
Freedom is happiness. Therefore, endlessly running to become happy is no different from struggling to gain freedom. At least, that's what I think.

Summary of the work: The only reply delivered through the Fox Flower Post Office, an eternal greeting that gently embraces the aching longing of the one left behind.
Main text highlight:
Why do we put on blindfolds when things get tough? Why does only unhappiness come into view, while happiness falls into a blind spot? In the end, I was deceived by unhappiness and left an indelible wound on happiness. That's how it is.
