A small golden pastry from 19th-century Paris,

Baked again with today's taste.

On top of the traditional French pastry method, we added five flavors that we love today!

Rich butter and fragrant vanilla bean,
Completed with organic sugar,

A premium set of five kinds of Financier.

What kind of dessert is Financier?

The pastry known as the root of Financier is an almond pastry called 'Visitandine,' made at a monastery in Nancy, Lorraine, France. In 1865, the book by French pastry chef Pierre Lacam recorded a type of pastry called 'Financier,' made with almonds and egg whites.

The most widely known story is about the Parisian pastry chef Lasne at the end of the 19th century. Many of his customers were financiers working in the Paris stock market.

The small pastry, which could be eaten easily even when busy and did not get cream on hands or clothes, was a perfect dessert for financial professionals.

The pastry chef called this pastry 'Financier,' the French word for financier, and baked it in a rectangular shape reminiscent of a gold bar.

Thus, the small, golden-baked pastry, resembling a little gold bar, has continued to be loved to this day.

Financier is a representative French baked pastry made with butter, egg whites, sugar, and almond powder.

Contrary to its small and neat appearance, a bite reveals the rich aroma of butter, the nuttiness of nuts, and a dense, moist texture.

The reason for its deep flavor even without cream or filling lies in the method of sufficiently heating the butter, which is the core of the batter, to bring out a nutty aroma—this is called 'brown butter' or 'beurre noisette' in French.

As the butter melts and moisture evaporates, the milk solids turn brown,
Creating a deep, nutty aroma reminiscent of hazelnuts.

As this fragrant butter permeates the entire batter, the unique rich flavor of Financier is completed.

A small golden pastry that has crossed time,

We preserved the old method and added today's taste.

There is a reason why some desserts are loved for a long time.

Rich butter aroma, moist and dense batter, and perfectly golden-brown edges.

We have preserved the original charm of the financier while enhancing it with ingredients and flavors that make it even more delicious today.

The small pastry once enjoyed casually in 19th-century Paris has become a dessert to enjoy with coffee today, and we hope it will become a gift to express your heart to someone special!

Just as traditional financiers are meant to be.

On top of that, the savory saltiness of yellow cheese,
The refreshing taste of lemon, the sweetness of Chodang corn,
The sweet and familiar delight of Oreo,
And the deep, nutty flavor of salted caramel pecan.

The methods of the past and the tastes of today

Come together in a single small dessert.

Three things that define the taste of financiers!

Financiers are not desserts that hide their flavor with fancy cream or lots of filling.

The aroma of butter, the sweetness of sugar, and the density and baking of the batter are what make up the flavor of this pastry.

That is why we carefully selected even the most basic ingredients.

POINT 01. Flavorful butter

At the heart of financiers is butter.

The aroma that spreads when financiers go into the oven, the nuttiness you taste with the first bite, and the soft aftertaste that lingers in your mouth.

Butter is at the center of all these flavors.

By using flavorful butter, we made sure the taste is rich and nutty without being overly greasy.

We aim for premium baked goods that allow you to slowly savor the deep aroma of butter, not just simple sweet treats.

POINT 02. Real Vanilla Bean

Adding a delicate aroma between the sweetness.

Vanilla bean is not just an ingredient that gives a sweet scent.

It gently connects the rich flavor of butter and naturally harmonizes the aromas of each ingredient.

The subtle and warm scent of vanilla bean delicately spreads throughout the dough, creating a deep flavor even in a single small financier.

POINT 03. Organic Sugar

Soft sweetness, clear taste of ingredients.

When eating a financier, we focused on balancing the sweetness so that the flavors of butter and vanilla, the main ingredients, stand out rather than the taste of sugar coming first.

By using organic sugar, we added a gentle sweetness that is not overpowering and naturally brought out the unique character of each ingredient.

Five variations starting from the classic.

One timeless pastry,

Five different flavors.

Based on the deep buttery flavor of traditional financier, we captured the unique character of each ingredient.

Familiar yet not ordinary, new yet not difficult flavors.

Experience both the classics of the past and today's tastes in one box.

01. Aged Cheese Financier

Rich savory flavor with an added deep, salty touch.

The nutty financier is gently covered with a rich aged cheese icing.

The deep flavor of butter meets the unique, salty, and rich taste of aged cheese.
The sweetness and saltiness blend together harmoniously.

02. Lemon Financier

Refreshing lemon awakens the deep taste of butter.

With the fresh aroma and subtle acidity of lemon, we have reinterpreted the butter financier to be even more refreshing.

Lemon icing that completely covers the top and a light touch of lemon zest leave a fragrant and clean aftertaste in your mouth.

The rich butter flavor meets the refreshing taste of lemon, making it enjoyable without being heavy.

03. Corn Financier

Familiar sweetness found in French baked goods.

Corn is evenly mixed throughout the batter,
so no matter where you take a bite,
you can taste the natural sweetness of corn.

The corn is not simply placed on top,
but baked together with the batter to create a moist, embedded texture,
resulting in a natural mouthfeel.

A light touch of cheese powder and paprika powder is added,
bringing a savory and subtle umami after the sweetness.

04. Oreo Financier

A familiar and delightful taste added to a classic French pastry.

Plenty of Oreo powder is mixed into the basic financier batter, allowing you to enjoy the sweet and slightly bitter flavor of cookies amidst the rich taste of butter.

Oreo pieces of various sizes are naturally embedded in the batter and baked together, creating a relaxed homemade feel that is charmingly unrefined.

The sweet taste of familiar Oreos and the dense texture of the financier come together for a flavor that everyone can enjoy comfortably.

05. Salted Pecan Financier

A lingering harmony of nuttiness and sweet-salty balance.

Finely chopped pecans are added to the batter, providing a nutty flavor and texture with every bite.

Large pecan pieces are irregularly placed on top and baked, highlighting the presence of the nuts.

A thin caramel coating adds a subtle sheen, while coarse salt brings a savory touch, balancing the sweetness so it doesn't become overwhelming.

Butter, pecans, caramel, and salt come together in succession for the richest and most flavorful financier.
