Here is the background of how this project came to be.
I am Yongsoo Kim, running the leather workshop King's Hand in Bupyeong, Incheon.
One day, a customer said this.
"Leather straps are pretty, but I can't wear them when I exercise. I'm afraid sweat will ruin them."
Those words stayed with me for a long time.
Leather is weak against water.
This is common knowledge for anyone who works with leather.
That's why people who exercise wear silicone bands.
But that person wears a shirt and goes into meetings during the day.
On his wrist is a black rubber band.
A strap for exercise in the morning, a leather one for work.
Change it twice a day.
It only takes one minute.
But that one minute repeats every day.
When I learned that there is leather resistant to water,
I thought I could solve this problem.
Make the leather withstand water,
Emboss the inner side to let air pass through,
A strap that combines exercise and commuting.
This is the product we created that way.
The amount raised through this Funding will be used for purchasing raw materials and initial production,
as well as for packaging and preparing for delivery.
This project we are presenting has this story.

Each piece of leather is measured for thickness.
If it is too thick, it digs into your wrist,
If it is too thin, it stretches quickly.
It took the longest time to find a thickness that is comfortable and durable,
And can be used for a long time.
Cutting, embossing, edge finishing, gluing, stitching, and finishing.
All processes are done directly in the workshop.
