Hello, Supporters! This is Youngcheong.
Hello. I am Namgoong Geonil, CEO of Youngcheong.
With the perspective of a Dancheong national heritage restoration technician, I created this brand hoping that traditional culture would shine.
It has now been five years. Interest in traditional culture and traditional design is hotter than ever.
Compared to five years ago when I started the brand, there are now so many traditional design brands and products. It seems that 'tradition' has now become a part of the mainstream, which makes me feel proud.
At the same time, I am deeply thinking about how Youngcheong can persuade you.
After much intense deliberation, the conclusion I reached was,
Let us make tradition shine by connecting it more closely with those of us living in the present. That was my answer.
To make it more valuable, to give it a new purpose.
This project is a paper incense project inspired by the traditional Korean Buddhist ritual 'Nakhwa Ceremony.' The Nakhwa Ceremony, which prays for blessings and burns away worldly desires, can now be realized as incense (paper incense) in modern times.
This idea was the starting point. I kindly ask for your interest and support :)
Going forward, Youngcheong will continue to view things from the perspective of a Dancheong national heritage restoration technician.
Without compromising the essence, we will ensure that tradition connects with you and shines.
